Questions
What counts as a page?
A page of your document as printed. Word files count about 3,000 characters per page.
What is a project?
A set of documents analyzed together, such as a term sheet and its credit agreement. Projects are unlimited, with or without a plan: you pay for the pages analyzed.
How does pay as you go work?
Add credit from €5, excl. VAT. Each page analyzed costs €0.25, up to 20 pages per project, and questions in the chat use the same credit. Your credit stays valid for 12 months after your last top-up.
Pay as you go or a plan?
A plan costs less per page: Starter is €50 a month for 250 pages, so €0.20 a page instead of €0.25, and questions in the chat cost less.
What if I analyze the same documents again?
Each analysis counts its documents’ pages once, and analyzing the same documents again counts them again. To go further on an analysis, ask in the chat: your questions count toward your usage.
Can Destrier rewrite my contract?
Yes. After the analysis, "Fix it" rewrites the clauses with findings, as tracked changes against your version, and keeps every version in the project. You accept or reject each change, as in Word, and analyze the new version again. It costs only the pages it rewrites. It is a revised draft to discuss with your lawyer, not a document ready to sign.
Can I share an analysis with my lawyer?
Yes. Share the project with any email address, read only or as a copy: your lawyer, a colleague or your partner reads it with their own account, or gets their own copy to work on.
My document is longer than 20 pages. Can I still try it?
Yes. The free analysis covers 20 pages in total: short documents stay whole and long ones are analyzed from their first pages. The analysis shows what was covered. Professional and Unlimited review every page.
Which AI models analyze my documents?
The AI models that perform best on legal review, updated as better ones appear, within the fair use set out in the Terms. Your documents are never used to train them.
What happens to my document after a free analysis?
It is stored in the EU and used only for your analysis. Create an account to keep working on it; otherwise it is deleted within 24 hours of the analysis.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time from your account. A monthly plan runs to the end of the month already paid; a yearly plan runs to the end of the year already paid, without refund.
Is VAT included?
Prices are shown excluding VAT. Any VAT is added at checkout, depending on your country and VAT number.
